Get ready for a delicious hands-on cooking experience! Learn knife skills and how to make classic Southeast Kansas ethnic dishes with local volunteers. With two hands on recipes and one demo, you'll get to taste everything you make and take home the recipes. 

Learn how to hand piece a Grandmother’s Flower Garden Block.  Fabric, needle and thread provided. Participants can take their creations home.  Taught by Phyllis Dixon.

Patrons at our Pasta School will prepare homemade pasta together, seasonal fillings, sauces and more. You will spend a relaxing evening immersed in the cultural of local Italian cuisine.

Reminisce and learn about the history of southeast Kansas from local celebrities. Event will begin at 6:30PM in the Frisco Event Center.

Between August 30th at 8AM to 10PM on September 1st, patrons that show their Little Balkans Passport at Kansas Crossing Casino will receive $10 in Crossing Cash!

Experience the artistry and craftsmanship of stunning quilts at our Annual Quilt Show presented by the Little Balkans Quilt Guild.  As a long-standing highlight of the festival, don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the intricate world of quilting.

Enjoy an afternoon of Bingo at Meadowbrook Mall. Entry fee is $1 for participants over the age of 65 or facility resident. Passport required for participants under the age of 65. Prizes to be awarded! 

Attendees are able to get up close and personal with vintage cars, off road vehicles, rat rods and so much more! This is a MUST stop event for any car enthusiast.  The car show always leaves patrons with a deeper appreciation for the incredible technology and engineering behind these amazing machines.

Looking for the best-fried chicken and sides in town? Then make sure to stop by our Annual Chicken Dinner event to taste some lip-smacking food from SIX of our area's restaurants to satisfy your cravings. Plus, there will be LIVE Polka music; dancing is not only allowed but encouraged!

Bring your lawn chair and your passport and celebrate the final night of the festival with area favorite, Conway Jackson! Opening Act, The Retro Rockerz, start at 6:30 PM. Conway Jackson takes the stage at 8:30 PM
